thumbnails. foust

These are 12 thumbnails from Foust. I learned it was a lot easier to draw from still life pictures then real life. I also convinced myself to draw without a straight edge and not use pencil, so all mistakes and everything are on this paper. Over all, I was proud of myself being able to give some sort of perspective without these tools. This building is made up of tons of offices and studying abroad programs, but still has a sense of old architecture. My drawings are from the top floor, which has less of the historical architecture but I tried to capture it as best I could. I also have noticed characteristics we have been learning in our other classes such as the clerestory windows and the sense of 3 "levels".
